About Welsey Walser
Over the past four years I have been in school at Appalachian State University and will be gradating this coming May.
In my freelance work I design and develop sites with web standards in mind, using a wide range of technology and skills. My usual setup is a LAMP stack but I have also worked extensively with many other languages and tools.
Outside of the freelance work represented by this portfolio I also have a resume(PDF) of solid work experience that is the result of the development internships that I have taken part in during the summer break of each year in college.
I am most comfortiable, and consider myself proficent working with PHP, JavaScript, Java, Standards-based XHTML, CSS and Web UI Design. As a programmer, however, I it's always fun to be challenged to solve an interesting problem using a new programming language, system, or framework and I look forward to working for a company that offers up such a challenge.
